How to start a retail-based website on a limited budget
Many of us have nurtured the dream of starting an online retail business from home. If this is the case, why have so few actually followed through to the point when such a vision was ultimately realised?
While there are many answers to this question, one of the most common and seemingly insurmountable involves limited finances. The majority of would-be freelancers are still under the misconception that such ventures require a great deal of money. You will therefore be happy to learn that this is no longer the case. In fact, some have even created highly successful retail websites for the equivalent of what a daily cup of coffee would cost. If you are still somewhat incredulous, this is quite understandable. Saving money for a hard up millennial
Born from the early 1980s to mid 1990s, then you’re termed as a milennial and at the moment you may be finding it hard to save for that house deposit, as rent is so high and you’ve not reached your full earning potential. With that in mind, here is a list of ways you can save money.
Thrifty in office hours
- Commuting is one of the biggest costs for workers. Why not ask for an interest-free season ticket loan, or if you can work flexibly to avoid expensive peak time travel.
- If working in London, combine your Oyster card with the 16-25 Railcard to get a one-third discount on off-peak travel on the tube, overground and DLR network (after 10am during the week and all day at the weekends).
- You can only do this in

Young persons railcard valid for people up to 30 from 2018
Some awesome news from the budget. The government has said people up to 30 years-old will now be able to buy a £30 railcard for discounted train travel.
The move – set to be announced tomorrow – would be an extension of the current young person’s railcard for those aged 16 to 25.
The so called millennials’ card will be available from spring next year, and offer up to a third off non-peak fares.

The card is part of a series of Budget measures aimed to attract younger voters after a resurgence …
