5 Things You Need To Know To Succeed At Matched Betting
So after a long time thinking about it, I have started my matched betting journey, and my biggest inspiration is Emma at EmmaDrew.Info, so I asked her to write me a short post about top tips she has to share about Matched Betting…she’s made just under £10K, tax free from it since July 2015, so she’s worth listening to.
“I love finding ways to earn extra cash and letting others know what works and what doesn’t. Since July 2015 I have been making money tax free and risk free using a gambling loophole called matched betting and I would love to share 5 things you need to know to succeed at matched betting.
What matched betting is
The first, and most important, thing that you need to know is what matched betting is. Matched …

Free Postcode Lottery gives away £250 per day
Today, Free Postcode Lottery announced an increase to its main prize by £50 per day to £250 per day. The entirely free online lottery company founded by Chris Holbrook in 2011 has been growing exponentially (it is 300% larger than this time last year) and it is on track to give away £20,000 per day by 2020 to coincide with registering 20% of the UK population on the site. I have won £100 on the survey draw, so it’s all lovely and above board and no strings attached.
One of the UK’s most popular websites, Free Postcode Lottery boasts 530,000 active members who reside at 22% of all postcodes.
The site now gives away £450 per day (including a main draw and smaller draws) totalling £164,000 per year. FreePostcodeLottery.com is a totally free prize draw …

Financing a start up if a bank says no
This is an unusual post for me, but I remember when I started my own business, there weren’t a lot of finance options around that I could afford…bank said no and credit card interest was high, and I was definitely not going to any payday lenders.
So I was interested to hear about a new UK-wide start-up loan product, CWRT Micro-Loan – it’s backed by the government Start Up Loans initiative so all kosher. The new Micro-Loan product is available now as a start up loan of £500 – £4,500. It can be repayed over five years, so that is fantastic and interest is fixed 6%. It can be used for starting up costs, such as office equipment, marketing or a website. As the Micro-Loan is approved directly by the CWRT ( a responsible finance …

Easy and cheap cloudy lemonade recipe
I am rather a fan of cloudy lemonade and have tried a few, but no cloudy beats the one from M&S. However, it is £1.10 a bottle, so in my quest to save money so that I can spend money on fabulous things, has led me to making my own cloudy lemonade.
Yes and this my dahlings is the recipe:
Ingredients
- One Robinsons lemon squash for £1
- Buy a six pack of sparkling mineral water for around £1.10
Method
Open the sparkling water, drink some of it, pour in the squash, give a gentle shake and there you go…home made cloudy lemonade.
And my skills really know no bounds…we’ve even made home made Fanta by mixing orange squash with fizzy water.
So much healthier and really cheap – that’s £2.10 for 6 bottles, and 35 …

Make money from your home by letting people work there
Vrumi is another cool ‘sharing economy’ service. It specialises in opening up your home as a workspaces during the day. The service helps hosts to earn money from the spaces that would have otherwise been idle, while guests save money on workspaces.
Now you may know that I am a sharing economy fan. I love JustPark and even invested in them. If you live near a station, hospital, airport or town centre, just rent out your parking space and you will make money.
So Vrumi does the same, but for office space at your home. They organise everything, take payment and pay you…simples. Vrumi was launched in January 2015 by Roddy Campbell and William Sieghart, who wanted to help to solve the problem for self-employed, freelancers, micro-workers and other professionals to find spaces to work …

Bargain cat litter – Felight
So this is the second of the bargain cat products I am reviewing as I am now officially a cat friend. If you are not a cat lover or owner, this post is not for you, as it talks about a cat toilet!!!
Felight is according to its packaging “Super light and super effective….Felight brings you the best, most effective cat litters and a range of accessories to make the everyday tasks as easy as possible. From super absorbent and odour controlling cat litters to odour free wipes for the regular tray change. There is a cat litter for every type of paw in our growing range.”
And this is what I say:
Felight crystals
This cat litter (£2.98 for 10 litres + P&P) appears to be very odour neutralising but does not clump like …

The caviar of cat food aint cheap!
I watched a friend’s cats for a couple of weeks, so it made me think about trying some new things…all with the owners permission via Skype of course.
She always complains about the cost of cat food, but likes to give them luxury brands like Gourmet and Sheba as a treat. I was sent some Meowing Heads “Purr-nickety” and it’s not cheap. Starting from £6.50 up to £8 for 8 x 85 gram pods, this wet cat food costs a lot more than its closest rival – Gourmet – it’s double the price. The next ‘luxury’ brand along is Sheba. You can pick up an 18 pack of 85 g pods for the same price as the 8 x Meowing Heads.
But quality costs, I guess, as the kittys LOVED this premium, luxury brand cat …

Hynotherapy weight loss for free
Hypnotherapy for weight loss always seemed so prohibitively expensive and so it isn’t something I would have considered until I discovered the easyloss virtual gastric band app for FREE on my phone. It’s helped people all around the world to lose weight by training your subconscious thought, while asking you to follow some simple guidelines.
The pictures in this post show some before and after images of followers of this programme. There is a programme on Channel 4 at the moment called “How to Lose Weight Well”. A friend of mine who is a hypnotherapist and watched the show shared the fact that the guy (David in the pictures below) who had had hypnotherapy for weight loss lost pounds faster and kept them off more than any of the other alternatives on the show. I …

Make money from old socks on eBay
So after reading a post on making money from loo roll on eBay, I started to have a hunt around and see what other old rubbish you can sell and make money on eBay.
Would you believe that these old odd socks went for £15.50 and they aren’t even new. Or that these white beauties that don’t even look clean went for £4.99 and the lister confirmed that this isn’t an adult material listing….eee yew!
Or what about these 8 long football socks which sold for £4.20. They are “from my own home – freshly laundered READY to wear ” according to the listing.
I am actually very excited about this opportunity as I have stacks of kids socks that are odd, though I am not sure that’d I’d want them.
I did some digging …
